December 2021 Dear Crossover Cups Family,
What a year it has been! Can you believe that Christmas is almost here already? We are so blessed to have the amazing team of supporters that we do. We are so thankful for each and every one of you all the time, but especially during this Christmas season!
The Unexpected When I think of Christmas, I think of the unexpected. Who would have expected that the King of the World would be born in a dirty manger in a small town with no pomp and circumstance, just he, his parents, and a few animals? But, God delivered the Redeemer to us in an unexpected way. When I think of how my life changed eleven years ago when I reconnected with my good friend, Mike Williams, I did not expect what would happen. Something great, a renewed friendship with a champion for children, and the merging of two hearts with a passion of ministry and people. The result? More families who are being impacted with the hope of Jesus and lives being transformed. When we, as The Crossover Cups Team, see the magnitude of what God has called us to do, we are sometimes overwhelmed. Until we are reminded that God again moves in unexpected ways. Every week, people like you are praying and giving gifts, many times they are unexpected. God often works in the unexpected. The last 18 months have been a challenge for all of us. And yet during this unexpected time, God is still working. As the Christmas season approaches, the prayer of our team for you is that God would do something unexpected in your heart this holiday season. I hope you are looking for it. Because oftentimes, He is in the unexpected. Thank you for your continued partnership that makes unexpected things happen every day!
