2025 Internship

The 2024 Internship application will be open on September 12th, 2023. There have been changes in our program, so please review the information below.

Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Internship 2024 Program! Our internship program occurs over the course of 6 weeks in the summer, beginning the second week in June. Summer interns will be assigned a 2-3 week period over the summer where they will serve on the ground in the Dominican Republic, helping lead teams serving with the mission.

CUPS Summer Interns (CSI’s) prepare and lead mission activities on the ground, build lifelong friendships with the Dominican people in our villages, translate, and work closely with our on-the-ground missionaries and Dominican student leaders. These are just a few of the many roles and opportunities our CSI’s have.

Our CSI’s act as team leaders for teams that come down from the States or Canada. They are embedded with those teams to help them connect well to the mission on the ground.  They will stay with mission teams at the lodge, they will interact and help those leading the teams overall with daily activities so that individuals can better understand the mission and help serve those in the DR.

CUPS Mission also reserves the right to offer extended internships to individuals who are outstanding applicants. These applicants will spend 2-3 weeks in the DR in addition to the remainder of the summer at the stateside office of CUPS Mission in Greenville, SC. They will have the opportunity to help build social media content, create team-training resources, host fundraisers, and much more! CSI’s who are selected will also have the opportunity to be plugged into a local church to serve with their children’s and/or youth ministry. While in Greenville, individuals will live with a host family in the Greenville area.

We look forward to reviewing the Summer 2024 Program applications!
