INTRODUCTION
Mexico City has more than 22 million inhabitants, of which 1,780,113 are boys and girls from 0 to 15 years old, making up approximately 10% of the total population (INEGI, 2021).
Young people have always been in the heart of God and that is why we believe that it is important to prevent, serve, and help children and young people in conditions of abandonment or vulnerability to the following problems:
Some of the obstacles that these people face in their transition from childhood to adulthood include pregnancy at an early age, unemployment, job insecurity, school dropout, low access to quality health services, and low access to educational and vocational training programs.
In Mexico, almost a third of the population is young, and the outlook they face for their political, social, and economic development is alarming. Approximately, 40% are in poverty (CONEVAL, 2020), and of the 5.4 million young people who do not have the opportunity to study or work, 91.2% are women (CONAPRED, 2018).
Before the pandemic, Mexico ranked 1st in the world in the consumption of child pornography (PCF, 2018), 2nd in the global production and distribution of child pornography, and 1st in Latin America’s production and distribution of child pornography,(ECPAT, 2019); Among the countries that make up the OECD, Mexico ranks 1st in sexual violence against young girls, young boys, and all adolescents (OECD, 2019).
Girls, boys, and adolescents of all ages are victims of abandonment and neglect. Children from ages 6 to 11 years old represent 23.8% of the victims of abandonment and neglect, while children ages 1 and 5 years represent the remaining 15.6% of young people who suffer from abandonment and neglect in Mexico.
“Abandonment and neglect mostly affect adolescent girls and women, who represented 75.3% of the victims of this form of violence reported in the country during 2021.
Without mother or father: Three babies have been abandoned in less than a week. Last week the death of an abandoned baby in Ecatepec was reported, as well as a five-month-old fetus and now a baby according to the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office. Last Wednesday, a newborn was abandoned inside a plastic bag on an avenue in Ecatepec, State of Mexico. Since he was outdoors, the minor ended up dying as a result of hypothermia.
And history repeated itself because later, Mexico City authorities announced that they found a baby alone in a hotel room in Mexico City. according to the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office”

MISSION AND VISION
What is the Mission and Vision?
ABBA FATHER Life Center and House
VISION
Our vision is to provide children, boys and girls from 0 to 3 years old who are in conditions of orphanhood and at risk of abandonment, a safe and healthy place where they can live, receive care, food, restoration, health, and above all an identity in Christ
MISSION
We carefully offer a welcoming refuge to children who cannot live with their biological parents, providing them with a loving and attentive home. In addition, we extend our support and counseling to those young mothers who are in at-risk situations, ensuring the life and integrity of both the infant and the parent. If necessary, we will welcome the child into our home to ensure its well-being.
