September 2018 Ministry Update

Wow, What a Team!- From Jack Eason

I just returned from the Dominican for a team meeting with our On The Ground Team. I have to tell you that I am continually amazed and blessed by them. The dedication, heart, and servant attitude your Cups team has serving on the ground is astounding.
Why do they do it? To see transformation happen in the lives of the children and families. As we were sitting around the table talking about the future and praying for God to give us wisdom, Daniel shared this story. He told us that one of the leadership students who has grown up through our programs was thinking about his future and what he wanted to be. At first the young man talked about architecture. But Daniel asked him, "What do you think God wants you to be?" The young man answered, "I think He wants me to be a missionary."

When Daniel shared this story, tears welled up in my eyes as I thought about how much this young man had overcome, and how much God has done in his heart for him to even vocalize such a response. Humbling. Then, I thought of all the pieces of the puzzle that have come together to help him grow up to know God and live for him. Of course, the team on the ground has helped in a profound way, and been a big piece of that puzzle, but the bigger piece is you. Those of you who pray and support the Crossover CUPS Mission financially make these stories of life change happen. Thank you so much. I wish there was more I could say to show our appreciation. I can’t say anymore, but I can show you in person if you come down and join us sometime in the Dominican.

We want all of our Dominican kids to be able to read the Word of God in their own language! $10 pays for 1 Bible, $30 pays for 3 Bibles, $100 pays for 10 Bibles!
