Tropical Storm Ana caused widespread damage in Malawi, Africa last week
Please join us in praying for our dear friends in Malawi, Africa. Early last week, Tropical Storm Ana moved through southern Africa, causing massive flooding, destruction, and even death. The effects of the floods are more than just water. Homes and buildings have crumbled due to weakened foundations, power lines have fallen leaving many without electricity, and over 70 people have died across southern Africa.
On top of all of the destruction that has already been caused, this is just the beginning of storm season in Africa. Heavy rains have continued to fall even after the passage of tropical Storm Ana. Another large storm is expected to hit Malawi this week. Therein lies the possibility for more loss of life, rivers overflowing, and more building damage.
Please join our Stateside staff in praying for the 20,000 families affected by these storms and this destruction. Some have lost homes, some have lost power, and some have lost loved ones. If you would like to contribute to disaster relief, click on the link below to make a donation.
