May 2018 Update from Jack & Mike

Prayer Requests
Please pray for our staff on the ground. This month pray for Daniel as he prepares to teach Bible Camp many days during the summer. Pray for Jan as he leads our dump ministry. And pray for the dozens of folks coming down to serve this summer!
MIKE’S NEWS
His name is Leonardo. He grew up in a poor farming village in the Santiago area. He attended a Compassion International school for most of his high school years, and then the mission shut it down. Being poor and not having a legal birth certificate, his promise of an education leading to a good job turned to despair. Six years ago Leonardo showed up on our doorstep speaking excellent English, but stifled by his lack of legal identification. Some friend of Cups Mission bought him a camera and he learned photography from watching YouTube videos at our apartment. He got good at it… real good. Today he teaches an English school and does Photography in Quanaminthe, Haiti. This success story comes with a need. Leonardo needs a MacBook computer and an iPad tablet for his photo studio.
