Malawi September Update:

Hey Malawi fam! Here's an update for you:
 

Last month we had an anonymous donor offer to match gifts up to $2,500. Not only were we so close to meeting this goal at $1,875 total, but you all donated $1,050 of that during our pushup challenge from August 1st-14th! Our team is in the process of doing 105 pushups (don't worry, we will put the video on social media for you guys to have a laugh)!

Other news: On August 11-12, listeners from SHINE.FM radio station in Bourbonnais, Illinois helped us provide masks, medical care, and food for almost 300 people in Migowi. Praise God!! 

Because of our donors and partners, we've been able to hire another nurse to work in the clinic in order to treat more patients, and we were able to fix the building beside the clinic for the doctor to live in. Many Malawians walk/bike up to tens of miles to work every day, so now our doctor can live near the clinic so he doesn't have to travel. This will not only make his life much easier and increase the amount of time the clinic will be able to be open, but it will also ensure more accessibility to healthcare for those who need it!

Lastly, we have rescheduled our September Malawi trip, which was cancelled due to COVID-19, for March 10-18, 2021!
