As you can imagine, the Covid 19 virus has affected them in a big way. Surprisingly, they are behind the US and other countries in the timeline of this virus. The impact there is just beginning. Additionally, our lead missionary and pastor Mark Zimbiri contracted malaria a few weeks ago, and things were ‘touch and go’ for a while.
Thankfully, to God’s amazing grace, he has recovered, is out of the hospital and is gaining his strength back. Like the US, some of the programs have been halted, but that does not mean the need to reach people with the gospel and help them during this pandemic has stopped.
I am so grateful that we have a friend who understands the need and has stepped up with a $2500 matching gift between now and July 31st. Any gift that you can give to help with the effort of serving families and children during this time will have a double impact. If you give $100, it will have a $200 impact.
Right now, the urgent need is to keep the only local community clinic open to treat those who already facing illnesses that come with living in the Third World and in addition, the Covid-19 victims…

2. Salaries for doctor = $350.00
3. Salaries for Nurse = $300.00
